What can you do with a steamroller?

If you look-up the dictionary for the word “Steamroller” this is probably what you’ll see:

Steamroller |ˈstēmˌrōlər|
A heavy, slow-moving vehicle with a roller, used
to flatten the surfaces of roads during construction.

I think the dictionaries need some update as last week students at OTIS College of Art and Design in Los Angeles used a Big Ass Steamroller to make print! Students brought their large size wood carved art works to print under supervision of the artist Sean Starwars. Yep, that’s his name! Sean is an artist from Mississippi who flew to Los Angeles last week to conduct this crazy woodcut printmaking event at OTIS. It was such fun event and of course I went there to report it for our ghostly blog readers.

Please enjoy! (Sam Anvari, Los Angeles Branch)
